Ann was passionate about civic history and shared her enthusiasm with the Museum of Oxford team and the public. She was well known for her extensive knowledge of Oxford’s social history and was an ardent supporter of Museum of Oxford. Ann recently donated an object and her personal story about it to be displayed in the new Museum– a piece of brick from the Cutteslowe Walls when it was demolished in 1959.
